Is there any way of logging onto this board so that you know what you have already read and what posts are new??? At the moment everytime I visit the site everymessage is NEW, and also it does not tell you who and when the last post was made, only the original author.
hey tom, it does tell you on the right of the page, time and date that post was left, a happy coffee drinkin pacman, well according to mr potter, but i think it's swillie not coffee mr potter,
noodles.
Thanks Noodles, but thats only when you go into each topic, on the main discussion board it just gives the author and the date from new. I just think it would make it easier to check for responses and new topics which more than likely are going to be rather informative (Mr G P included!)

New messages on board are in blue on my pc. Once i have read them they then turn brownish colour. The only way I can tell if a new answer has been given in an existing thread is to watch the number of messages left for that thread. If you have a particular interest in the thread it's not too bad.
You need to have cookies enabled on your PC to know what has already been read or not as the case may be. If you use flat view rather than threaded view only those postings which are new will have the word new against
When posting you can ask for a reply to your thread if you wish - I don't bother with that.
Alternatively look at the the top yellow strip which allows you to view or collapse threads. I personally have collapsed threads on the main board and then use threaed views to look at the replies.
