Distance from BOVORETS to PAMPOROVO and BANSKO

Dont suppose anyone knows the driving distance between these resorts.

Reason being I have been told today by Thomson that we will be transported to either of the resorts from Bovorets if there is no snow. Just wandering what kind of travelling times are we looking at to get there....

Its all downhill from here!

But what if we don't want you there ?

Seriously you would be looking at a long long day for a few hours skiing.

Oh and what makes them think that there will be snow in the other resorts if none in Borovets the peaks of Borovets and Bansko are roughly the same altitude and Pamps is a fair bit lower.

How do you know about Thompsons saying this, as we are with them as well.

I have phoned them today and this is what they informed me of.......

They have just phoned me and said that from BOVORETS by bus to both resorts is 1.5 hours each. I do not beleive them at all..... I am sure that this is not accuarte, but there you go what we can doo apart from pray!

Better off asking about travel times from Boro to Canada!!

Only trying to make light of a sad situation Alan ...when you see the state of the slopes today and then consider that once any snow arrives it needs to 'bedd in' before any decent skiing....well.. with the best will in the world you're probably looking at first week in Jan before skiing 'proper' is available.

It WILL snow soon - it's just a matter of how this then translates to ski-able conditions.

It's 2 15mins hours from Borovets to Bansko.
It's 3 1/2 hours from Borovets to Pamporovo.

I have driven between these resorts many times and the times are minimum driving times if the roads are clear and conditions good etc.

As Dave Canski stated, if there is no snow in Borovets, there is little chance of snow in the other resorts.

Snowy Norman - Thanks for that. I was just wandering do you live near there or have you just been there on holiday many times...

Just so I can go back to them, do you think that if there is no snow in Bovo then there is not likely to be in any of the other two resorts.

Hi,

I leave in the mountains during the winter. I'll be based in BAsnko but regularly drive between all of the resorts.

if you are that worried you can pay to move your holiday to a different date or resort may be worth asking if you can get time off later in the year.
