Looking at buying my first snowboard. Cannot remeber how much they were selling them for last season in boro. Does anyone know if it is cheaper to buy there?
I have only been to Borovets (6th time next feb!) and bought my board, bindings and boots there.
I ended up with some Burton boots and an intermediate level head board and bindings for about £270. This was not as cheap as I was expecting but I bought quality, I have seen stores there doing packages for £199 but they may be only marginally better than hire boards.
As a rule when I checked prices in the UK i got a deal, comparable to buying from the US online but without import ...
Hi,
I have only been to Borovets (6th time next feb!) and bought my board, bindings and boots there.

As a rule when I checked prices in the UK i got a deal, comparable to buying from the US online but without import worries etc.
Also make sure you get a bag to bring the board home in! - we did not pay baggage for the boards as we just turned up with them and the airline assumed we had brought them over, up to you on this one!
Check out Ebay, especially Winter Shack as all of their gear is new and on auction, and they add new stuff every day. You will also see if you look at one of their ad's that they have warehouse sales almost every weekend in different areas of Scotland.
