Do people that like Pamporovo and Borovets need to move with the times?

Surely now that it has been modernised Bansko is the only place to ski in Bulgaria. Bansko has many brand new hotels and advanced lift system and skiing infrastructure.

Im sure Borovets and Pamporovo were fine for commies and poor scousers back during the cold war but times have changed and people need to move on.

Sorry but you can't compare Bansko with Borovets, they are 2 totally different places. Bansko has the charm of being a traditional town with very modern ski faciltities but if you really want to party hard then you may be disappointed. Borovets is the party capital of the skiing in Bulgaria. It just depends on what you want from your time in this country.

In it's defence Pamporovo also has a lot going for it though the skiing is a bit more limited

Couldn't comment on Pamps, as I've not yet been there, but there are alot of postive comments to make me want to visit.

Everyone has their favourites and obviously want to say that their place is the best, just don't diss people for not liking what you love.

if ur a good skiier , then go to bansko, if ur not that great go to the ova two, everybody makes up there own mind on where they want to go and why.

Fred you seem to have missed the point. People go to Pamps /Borovets because it is different. I like the fact that it is small I like the 1 man chair lift that tries to kcik you out! I choose to go to Pamps becuase it is not full of posers and I hope it never changes.
