Does anyone know how a day trip to the Bezbog hut ski run in Dobrinishte can be done... in terms of where do you get the lift pass from, how much, and how can you get there from Bansko? any information would be appreciated
We just book a taxi and they drop you at the ski lift. You buy a day ticket there and off you go. Beautiful scenery and great cheap food at the hut. The toilets are awful though, only holes in the floor. The ones in the hut are clean but the ones at the bottom are horrendous, worst I have ever been in!
Hi,
Can't remember costs of taxi and lift pass but both together are cheaper than a days pass at Bansko. we always go on our first day so we can then buy a 5 or 6 day pass at Bansko for the rest of the holiday
We do trips to Dobbers.
We have 8seaters and it costs 25lv for the day per person and Steve will stay with you for whole day show you the runs etc etc Must be 4minimum any more and we do reduce the price per head.
Takes 30-40mins to get there depending on snow and road. The lift pass was 25lv last year for day.
The toilets at the hotel at the top are ok. The food in the hotel is basic but very cheap and so is the beer.
Any more info click on my or Steve C's name and email us.

If the snow is good and you are into off-piste it is awesome over there......
The ski area at Dobriniste is basically one piste, nearly 7km in length, with a mixture of blue, red... and a black section that makes Tomba look like a nursury slope... Great off-piste under the lift and in the trees, the huts at the bottom offering a restbite at great prices, and the Bezbog hut provides good local food at local prices...
The road up to the Gotze Delchev lift can be interesting, over 5 miles from Dobriniste, and rarely ploughed... when the snow is big expect to meet skiers ...

My best days skiing last season was in Doobers, waist to chest deep champayne powder, no people at all, and completely trackless off-piste...
went to bansko this year and going back again in january... so definately would like to try something different for a day when we're out next. never got to ski the tomba, so hopefully it's open this time, but like the sound of it being steeper
