HiI've heard varying stories on what is the best currency to take out to Bulgaria. Some people are telling me dollars, others Euros - I'm tempted just to take Levs and be done with it.
Any thoughts?

Just take sterling. If you can be bothered to change into some Lev before you go you might find it useful for tips etc first night, and also, depending on what time you arrive, it will give you some dosh for first night drinks or whatever.
Speak to waiters, bar staff etc as most of them will change money at a slightly higher rate than elsewhere, but to be honest it is such good value in BG that another few levs per pound won't make that much difference. (The rep on your coach transfer ...

we took sterling and changed it up at change plus+,dont confuse that with change x which is below the gogo bar.you should get 2.75leva to the pound. have a gud time in borore: Dollars
Pat,If you can get a better rate than 2.65-2.7, then take it with you I bought some Levs from M & S before I went, they gave me 2.707, this was a little better than I got in resort.... you may like to give them a call!
