Hi All,
My girlfriend and me just got back from Bansko yesterday after a brilliant week. We were staying in the Hotel Lion which was AMAZING! Everything in Bansko is reasonably priced, locals are very friendly, hotel food good, local mehanas are great for food & drink, snow great, lifts good, ski hire good, i could go on all day....
I just felt the need to express my feeling about the holiday because Bansko & it's facilities get such a bad press on most chat rooms, Tripadvisor etc etc ...

If you are thinking of going & you are a bit warey of everything you have read about the place, GO GO GO!

Good on you! its amazing how much the bad press stops once the snow arrives! Pleased you had a good time!

Back from Banski a couple of weeks now...always have a great time! Just wish I was still there!!!!re: Don't listen to the scaremongers!!!!
Glad you had a good time and loved Bansko. I am off in mid March for my3rd time and cannot wait.

I returned yesterday from Bansko and I have to say that it was great.Lots of snow (more than during christmas) and great weather.I will return next weekend.I feel very lucky i live just 4hour drive from Bansko!
