Don't wish to harp on ... but

131 runs open in Killington at the moment covering 69 miles. 33 lifts open, average snow depth 3 feet.

But would you believe, if I had the chance right now, I'd swap it for another trip to Pamporovo. Sad

re: Don't wish to harp on ... but

That's the only reason we're going Bobcat, because we were getting a little too set in our ways, but I love Pamps so much it very hard to take as the day to leave draws near. Sure, I know the skiing will be better as will the facilities. But the American people will never be able to match the Bulgarian spirit of fun and laughter and that's what I'm going to miss so much.

No matter how good Killington is, wild horses will not prevent me from being back in Pamps in 2007.

Should be very grateful that I'm able to experience sking in North America, but the more I read on this board, the more I long to be in Pamps. Confused

Pete you will love skiing America. The American public are great and love the British. My wife's cousin works in a ski resort in the United States - but he is in the Lake Tahoe area - a place my wife and me are thinking of going to in 2007

Have fun

I've been to Bansko 4 times, Killington 3.

Bansko is much more modern, has much better apres and is more beautiful. Be careful a run un the USA can be a 50 yard connector between two real runs.

Don't get me wrong I loved Killington but Bulgaria is definately better.

I don't want to rub it in, but I'll be in Canada in 13 days time.

I am staying in Lake Louise but skiing 3 resorts on the same ski pass.

But like PP says, I will be back in pamps next year!
