I was in bansko looking at property in April. The journey from Sofia was interesting to say the least. The journey back to the airport was a nightmare, do they not know about road signs in Sofia. I mean all they have do do is draw a plane on a sign and then put an arrow to let you know which way to go. How hard can it be.
Anyway, am going to take possesion of our apartment at the start of January and then hopefully going back start of February for my first proper sking holiday ...
Hi All,
I was in bansko looking at property in April. The journey from Sofia was interesting to say the least. The journey back to the airport was a nightmare, do they not know about road signs in Sofia. I mean all they have do do is draw a plane on a sign and then put an arrow to let you know which way to go. How hard can it be.
Anyway, am going to take possesion of our apartment at the start of January and then hopefully going back start of February for my first proper sking holiday in 15 years.
What is the road , ( E59 I think) like now, it was closed in April for road works and we had to follow a diversion. Has the E59 reopened yet.
Also, any tips for anyone who has not really driven in decent snow b4. I don't count the light dusting we get in this country.
work is almost complete on the present stage of renovation. The road is very good from Pernik until just before Dupnitsa. I done Bansko-Sofia last week in exactly 2hrs. They have also done a lot of work on the road from SIMITLI - RAZLOG - BANSKO.
