Just come back from an hour of Dry Slope Ski FUN!!! (exept for the borders - i messed up - only when i got there i found out it was ramp & rail night)
I have'nt skied fro 4ish years due to snapping my knee playing rugby - and boy could i tell!!!
After a few runs, i did kind of get back into it, and realised how much i hate dry slope compared to the real thing!!
i think a few more hour sessions and i will feel ready for the slopes in Borovets on Jan 27th. I did also enjoy my GF ...

Can anyone tell me from experience how the beginers/intermediates are graded on the first ski lesson out in Borovets?
dont know about borovets but usually ask if you can ski at all if you can give a small trial to see how good you arethen put you in a class according to your skill level.
After collecting our skis/boots/poles at the Boro Gondola station last year, we were asked by a Borosport chap what our experience was. We told him none on snow, but had been to the dry slope 4 times and could snow plough reasonably well.
He then put us into a group of people who had one weeks previous ski experience, allocated us an instructor and off we went.
Thanks for the info folks, will be a case of wait and see then i suppose!!!
Legs are aching a bit today from last night - so i think some more practice is needed so i can cope with a week on the piste!!! Better book in to 2 spinning sessions rather than one a week!!!
