Dryslope snowboard lesson yesterday

Thought I'd take a tester on the dry slopes before I go out to BG. £21 / hr tho
WOW such fun, did much better than I expected & so did my gf. Can go straight, fall down, jump and go down the slope on the heel side of the board in a fairly controlled manner. Turning....er.....needs a bit more practice but hey it was my first time and I didnt fall down much.

Roll on 29 Feb.... 6 weeks, 6 days and 5 hrs to go

Good effort snow is much easier than the snowflex stuff i expect you where on
Youll find things easier when you get there now. Just remember to drink as much as possible the night before and to keep yourself topped up through out the day. (It helps to bend the knees) LOL

Yes, I have heard Lager is as good as Cod Liver Oil for flexing the toughened joints.

It is quite tricky bending your knees and keeping them wide apart. Best way I found was just to relax and jump about a bit shift your weight around til you find a good balance. Can't wait to go!! Once I've got all my clothing and stuff and if I like it...I will be able to go a couple of times a year, woohoo

Just being up on the mountains.Its so beautiful up there and with a bit of practice youll be spraying snow into the faces of fallen skiers in no time. lol.

Can't wait, hope to find some nice smooth ramps so I can practice my jumps and put a few grabs in maybe even try my hand at some grinding
