Morning folks,

Heading to Pamporovo tomorrow from Dublin adn already not looking like the holiday I hoped for it to be. First time to go skiing and have been really looking forward to it for the last while but between the winds in Dublin curtailing the number of flights leaving adn then the fact that there's no snow due for the coming week I'm wondering what exactly i have to look forward to for the coming week.
Potentail liver damage from drinking out in Pamps?? Seems like the only thig to do there going byt he pictures of the green hills of Pamporovo on this website!!

A hill walking holiday instead of skiing me thinks!!

So depressing.....oh and my suitcase is full and I havn't half the stuff in it yet

I am feeling the same way... I feel I have wasted my money, I dont want to drink all week (I am not really a drinker) I booked this holiday to ski ! I know its no one fault but it is dame depressing... I think in future I will avoid booking untill the very last minute if I every go back to Pamps again.... I will try and enjoy my self with a few walks here a there, but the main reason I am many others have booked this holiday is to ski.... Lets hope there is snow there tommorow for my and many other skiers / borders arrival...

Hey we're flying out of Cork the 1st week in March. To tell you the truth I was worried about the snow and upset but not any more. Was in Pamps last year and loved it. (we've been skiing a good few times now) I think this year if we get some skiing in each day I won't mind. Someone said here the other day that skiing in the morning is good. I know it's not great for the beginners but there is snow at the back of the of the place where you store your boots and skies and alot of beginners use that too.
I'm looking forward to getting a break from work and if it's really that bad - I hope I'll get to see a little bit of the country side and some villages around the resort. Don't worry about it! If it's meant to be it's meant to be!!!!

yeah know the feeling, it's major depressing. I feel as if I've wasted money too on something that's a complete novelty for me. I haven't been on a holiday in a few years and to book one and then be this disappointed the day before I leave is nearly heart breaking.
Yeah I'd be the same as yourself, didn't book this to go drinking for a full week. I'd prefer to dot he activities and see the sights rahter than sit in a pub - i can do that at home sure.
Well i suppose it's out of my hands as to what happens witht he weather. I'd defo not book too far in advance next year tho either.....way too risky the way weather is becoming so freaky throughout the world.
