Duty Free at Sofia..

Can we use the shop this year for drink etc. Last year we werent allowed in Crying . Doitman Smile Smile Smile

We used the shop in January but if you buy in the resort or local town, it is cheaper and you take more back. Booze Booze Booze

Strange one this shop. back in 2007 we were using the shop to buy things like aftershaves and your your little pressies and they said no fags or spirits. This year (last weekend) after filling my suitcase with shed loads of fags i brought in Boro, the shop in the airport was selling spirits and fags at cheep prices and you could have as much as you could carry or wanted i brought another 1000 another guy in the que with me had 2 shopping baskets full. Hell knows whats going on but we figured ...

I came through sofia last weekend and we were allowed to buy the bulgarian cigs but not the british ones, Ticket on all british ones saying non EU customers only. We were allowed to buy alcohol and got 2 litres of smirnoff vodka for 20 euros which is a bargain>>

We flew out and back on Thomas Cook and some strange reason they sold duty free on the way out and back!!
