EVENING WEAR

Without meaning to sound like a fashion freak - which I assure people I am not...it will be my first time skiing and going to Borovets in February. What do people wear in the evenings? If you go out walking at night do you need hiking boots for the snow? Sounds daft but don't want to forget to take anything...re: EVENING WEAR

I went for the 1st time last year with my husband and he took jeans and t-shirts to wear in the evening. He obviously had his ski jacket on as well - he not a mountain yettie!!!!! On his feet he just had a good pair of boots. If you plan to do a lot of walking then perhaps waterproof boots would be a good idea but we only managed to get from bar to bar!!!!

I would suggest you take slippers as these will allow you the greatest freedom.
I would also take t-shirts and shorts as it can get very hot in Bulgaria - especially from January-March.
I would recommend that you take plenty of bottled water also as it tends to evaporate at these temp's.
The UK government advises that you do not wear any branded or labelled clothing of a night - I would stick to white string vests and pants and either wellies or slippers as you will not be acosted ...

Altertaivly, you could wear a bow tie and a kilt made from plastic fibres as this is the accepted dress for clubbing in Bulgaria.
