Early December in Bansko?

Early December in Bansko?

Hi, does anyone know when the ski lifts/schools open in Bansko. We are planning on going 7th Dec - will the ski season have begun then? Thanks

last year I think theuy officially opened on 1st December but it was just a market ploy really. I think there was just 3-4 run open and these were created only with snow cannons. I think most people would recommend Christmas as the earliest time to go skiing in Bansko.

last year it was open, the year before 15th december, but it did open earlier as we had lots of snow. It is early, but lets hope the snow comes early !!!

David,yes, there will be snow... In fact our first fall is forecast for next week, around 15th Oct Razz it was on the 5th Oct last year...
