Early Snow in Alps already!!

Just been on the La Rosiere webcam and they have had a decent dusting of snow. Talked to a friend over there and they said that last year they had virtually nothing until early December.....being optimistic - this could be a good early sign for a good winter right across Europe in general - who knows!!
