Easier Skiing - Bansko or Pamps/Boro?

Hi

Recently back from Bansko, loved it but found some of the blue slopes a bit steep and busy. How do Bansko's blue runs / crowds compare with Boro or Pamps and would they be a better option? Was thinking of early/mid April. Any comments welcome.

Pamps is good for beginner/intermediate. There is a long green that goes from top to bottom and some lovely wide blues. Even some of the reds are quite gentle! Last week was half term for some of UK and even then, slopes weren't busy. We never queued longer than a few minutes for lifts - and sometimes there was no queue at all.

Pamps... No doubt... Could be getting a little warm though by mid april, never been that late, but sure someone would be able to give you advice regarding that part of the season.

Mid April will be too late - there will be real problems with freeze/thaw and dirt patches by then. Its pretty much the end of the season.

my friends are heading for Bansko at Easter, snow not guarenteed but they have been before at this time and found it skiable... not sure the lifts are still open in Pamps at this time, but know they are in Bansko

remember easter this year is early good friday 21st march
20 of us going to boro on sat 22nd from bristol staying at samokov

I'm glad i'm not the only one that read this as Easter Skiing!! No bunnies on the slopes in April this year x

Give Pamps a few years! Perelik will be opened up for business and should extend the Pamps season somewhatQuoted 08-09 season! Can't see it myself but heyho

Pamporovo will still be open at Easter but mid April the snow may not be good, I was in Bansko mid April last year & there was loads of snow & not many skiers!!!!!!!!!!!!!! however a few of the touristy bars had closed up for the winter & moved out to the beach resorts
