Easter skiing

Hi guys, a group of us are coming out to borovets at the end of Feb but ive just been informed by my missus that the kids easter holidays are at the beginning of April this year and coincides with my break at work!

So....... anybody have any experience of Mar/Apr skiing? just searched on balkans website and all hotels are available, also looked at historical data and things look quite rosy, any views?

Last year it was good, after a pretty poor season we had quite a bit of new snow.
The lifts work until the 15th April so it works OK for this years Easter school holidays.
Our grandchildren are coming out at Easter.

We went at the beginning of April about 5 years ago. The skiing was great in the mornings, beautiful blue skies but it can get a bit slushy in the afternoons. We tended to ski until about 1.30 then had a late lunch at the top and finish by skiing back down after lunch.

Sounds very positive! I will leave it until late March, see what conditions are like, thanks for your input guys, hopefully be in Bulgaria February and March, can't wait.......bring it on!

Have always enjoyed easter ski at Bansko, less busy , smaller queues and usually lovely weather. Slushy Pm. But just tweak your day. Enjoy.
