But in Borovets there seems to be only pizza and steak places with rather high prices. We had a good walk round, but feel we may have missed something. We were in The Bor hotel so saw the older part of Borovets but there ...

Anyone help for our trip in February??

possibly have to go into the nearest town of samokov in a taxi, if you ask one of the ski instuctors they should be able to advise you on the best one, most of them live in Samokov

re: Eating out in Borovets

Borovez have only the Bulgarian Rose restaurant and it is a bit expensive, behind Rila Hotel, in direction to the forrest. Borovez is a resort, bansko is a growned town.
Try the Starata kaschta in Samokov, take the bus down and the cab ride to come home.
