Just wondered if anybody knows whether EB will stretch my boots if they were not purchased there and do me a custom footbed? I am sure the boots fit as well as can be expected off the shelf as I have such problem feet, wide, high instep, flat and bunion thing (nice!!) but think they may need stretching slightly to accomadate my little toe. I have tried on so many boots and these are best by far, is it worth taking them in to get an opinion, if they dont think they are right I will ...
Hiya
Just wondered if anybody knows whether EB will stretch my boots if they were not purchased there and do me a custom footbed? I am sure the boots fit as well as can be expected off the shelf as I have such problem feet, wide, high instep, flat and bunion thing (nice!!) but think they may need stretching slightly to accomadate my little toe. I have tried on so many boots and these are best by far, is it worth taking them in to get an opinion, if they dont think they are right I will just buy a pair from them as the pain isnt worth it!! Has anyone taken their own boots in?
They may not need stretched... I had a cocked up pair of boots last yr all because the unnamed company stretched where not needed. (all sorted now, it was Ellis who came to my rescue!) a moulded footbed may be all you need to eliminate pronation therefore eliminating excess pressure around the little toe area.
Whatever they do I would recommend them to anyone. EB rule!
Thanks Rach, Im going to take these in and see what they say, compared to some boots ive worn they pressure is nothing. I must have had 5 pairs of hire boots last year, my feet are unbelieveable, nothing fits
