Just to let all you BGSKIers coming out over the next few days what conditions are like at the moment.

It's been sunny for the past couple of days and not much wind. The top slopes are absolutely PERFECT. There has been so much snow that the entire hillside is almost one big piste so if you are happy off piste then you will have a ball. It's a bit cruddy but will suit good skiiers and boarders.

Musala Pathway is fine all the way to the bottom. There are a few patches on it but nowhere near as tricky it could be. If you can snowplough you can get down it NP (class of newbie kids did it today for example). I managed over 50mph on it today as well!

Yastrebets runs superb.

The Rila side is good as well but has suffered a little more on the sheltered pistes with freezing overnight therefore has more patches of ice on some of the reds. Blues all very good (esp in the late morning/pm). George's run fine as well. 'Cos it's bit hard in the am the gondola has been more busy so bit of a queue from 9:30-11 ish. You can always take the mini bus to Yastrebets express and ski there.

Basically it's about as good as it gets and if we get some top up snow over the next few days it will be as good for weeks.

Well today was like being in the Caribbean, lol. Skied the black and reds rila side yesterday, and went up gondola today, pulled muscle so had to snow plough down the mussala. Be careful the run was really lumpy in places, there was a hard ice mound by the bridge s bend at the top. Rested this afternoon so tomorrow I can ski again. The rila side was getting better as the day went on yesterday. Off to bonitos tomorrow for dinner. Hope to see some of you on the slopes, there won't be a bigger skier on the slopes lol.
