Equipment hire & Lift pass Borovets

I have accommodation & flights booked to come to borovets for new year.

Can anyone tell me how much it will cost for equipment hire, lift pass & a private instructor for 4 of us for a couple of hours a day for 4 days?

Is it easy to arrange in resort?

Have been trying to book in advance, but nowhere seem to want to take a booking unless you book accommodation through them.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes, you can arrange all of that when you get to the resort, but be warned, it will cost you a LOT more than if you pre-book it - perhaps as much as 5 times the price!

Thanks for that.

Does anyone know where I can pre-arrange booking a ski package without having to book a holiday or accommodation?

The price of a lift pass will cost you approximately £95 over in Bulgaria for the week which is slightly more expensive that if you purchased one over here. You will be able to purchase a pass through your tour operator but they will put an admin charge on top of the price which is £15;00. The ski and boot hire for the week will cost you approx £80.. There are a number of ski hire shops so shop around whilst your over there. It will also depend on the quality of the ski and boot. I was in ...

Bansko on the 3rd of Feb... Enjoy. Very Happy

I don't know of any travel agents that will sell you the package without having booked your accomodation through them as well. There was a thread about this topic a couple weeks ago where various people phoned the UK travel agents who all were unable to seel them a ski package withouthaving booked the accomodation as well. Sorry.

Anj,
I have emailed you as i can assist you with private tuition and ski hire.Ski and boot hire starts at 12O.oo leva for the week.
Hornster 5 times the price, they must have seen you coming from miles away Very Happy
I wish people would stop bagging the prices in the resort. As you are exagerating them.Perhaps you have had a bad experience but this does not mean you should generalise the resort.
