I know its still 4 months away but me and the family are going to Pamps for our first skiing holiday in early Jan. We have bought jackets in the sales but what else do we as first timers we need to buy?
Also should we go to a ski slope and get some basic lessons before we go and if so where in the south of England would anyone recomend?
Thanks
okay you will need trousers ( salops) ski socks, gloves, hats, thermal vest pants. Try Aldi TK max near November or ebay, lip balm, sun glasses. cash bring card for machines or change small amount to levs before you go and clean banknotes to exchange no tears.
Also bring your own pain killers, etc that you think you may need pharmacy is limited although some things can be bought in supermarket.
Some basic lesson would be good but can't recommend site in south as I am in Manchester ...

Just enjoy
Could you get to Milton keynes and try the Snowdome? To be honest if you can have a couple of lesson's it will help advance you but learn to ski is great fun!!!
Ian,
If you have booked through Thomsons (as we have) depending on what type of booking you have made you can qualify for half price lessons, and depending on where you live in the south Bracknell have a ski slope to learn on.
