Euro's or Levs?

Hi All,

7 days to go for our first trip to Pamps. Can you use Euro's or is it just Levs in Pamps? If both is there a preference?
Need to change money and book final arrangements.
Ive never felt this excited since i was a child Very Happy

Levs is best. Take a few levs with you and change the rest in resort usually a better exchange rate. Good condition £20 notes.

Enjoy

Thanks Boon.

Levs it is then. Will exchange some to get us by for a day then change there. I take it's easy to change?

re: Euro's or Levs?

Only change your money either at your hotel reception, banks, or Crown Exchange booths. Some other booths may offer a better rate on boards outside, but the small print you won't see means you will actually get a very low rate. And one thing we always tell people - NEVER NEVER NEVER change money on the streets with strangers no matter what they offer you. They will give you worthless old currency in exchange. Just a polite 'no thank-you' is all that is needed for them to go away.

Thanks for the info PP.

Is there any other tips or suggestions you can think of regarding the trip or Pamps in general?

Cheers Booze

No - not really Tom. Just enjoy every second of it! The Bulgarian people are very friendly and will steal your heart away. If you are looking for a great place to eat on the slopes I can recommend Peters Bar at the mid station. Small, but the food it excellent. You will find it at the bottom of the T Bar run on the right.

Oh and you will be pestered to death at the slopes by the bell sellers and they don't take no for an answer. They are very friendly but will always try their best to ...

Hopefully Pamporovo will mean the same to you as it does to me. I first went there 21 years ago - and the more I go - the more I love it!
