Euros or lev

Since Bulgaria has just joined the EU is everyone taking Euros or the old currency?
Can you still pay in both currencies. If so which is best value. For example how much is a beer in euros compared with lev?
Anyone know if the prices have gone up since joining the EU?

You will need Levs the Euro is not being used in Bulgaria yet. Best to change in resort you will get a higher rate.
