OK, the snow cover isn't brilliant but more is forecast ... and there's always the new chair up top to play on, but there are two datesof note for next week.

Jan 25th - Sunday - Burn's Night. Not just any Burn's night though, it's the 250th anniversary of his birth.

Does the Alpina sell Haggis?

Also, the next night is the Chinese New Year - start of the Year of the Ox - maybe fitting that we're gambling that night!

We must be able to find neeps, tatties and the ol' haggis out there. . . I don't know if we'll be allowed to carry them, if we can get Arrie to cook 'em. Might be able to take a small haggis, even if just to say the blessing, for a taster.
