Just back today from Pamps. Fantastic week. Stayed at Snezjanka which was good and better than I thought it would be. Food ok and got better as the week went on. They ran out of cheap beer part way through the week!
Ski instructor from the Pamporovo Ski School was fantastic- Mima. She put a lot into teaching us and was just brilliant. If you get her you can count yourself lucky. Just remember " stay on the tongues". She was great from the youngest in our party, 9 years old, to the oldest ...

Ski instructor from the Pamporovo Ski School was fantastic- Mima. She put a lot into teaching us and was just brilliant. If you get her you can count yourself lucky. Just remember " stay on the tongues". She was great from the youngest in our party, 9 years old, to the oldest.
Prices are ok- stock up at the Alaska supermarket in town. The new restaurant on the top of the mountain- Golden eagle was great. Pizzas v good both price and taste wise. Try mustard on pizza- brilliant ( a Mima recommendation). Also good is the Lodge on the top. Avoid the small shack by the drag lift.
Tried skidooing at night. Good fun- noisy, smelly, and fast. Pool hall in Perelik a bargain.
Best of all was the skiing- took two of the children 9 and 21 and got burnt off by both of them. None of us had skied before but ended up on a red run on Saturday morning.

We had Mima the first time we went to Pamps as first time skiers, and had a great week, only group singing as we came down mountain not managed to get in a group with her again but she always speaks when she see us, like all the instructors we have met over the years.Wish we could afford to go this year

hmmmmmm...bloody economic downturn. Most of this is in peoples heads. If a dirty great meteorite was to hit the earth 2morrow there would be no recession.

Sorry don't think the thousands of people who have been made redundant recently think it it is in their head
Not knowing when they are going to get another job
