Exchange Rate

We are going out to Borovets on Boxing day, if I want to change pounds to levs commision free through my bank I have to ring them tomorrow to get a delivery mondayOnly problem is they are offering 1.85 lev to the pound which scared the living daylights out of me.
What do the rest of you do?

Dont get caught in the trap of commisiion free. The post office tried this ( still do) with marketing about no comission.
yes, technically correct that you pay no comission, however the rate at which they "sell" levs to you will invariably be worse than a bank that charges a comission rate.
At the minute you are in a quandry. With the pathetic performance against the euro, the number of levs to the pound is gradually going to decline. The fact you are not going to next doesnt give you ...

Personally if i was going next week, i would change £20 to have a few levs when i get there and look to exchange the rest out there.
On the other hand if i was going jan-feb i would change now (if affordable) as the pound will continue to get its ass kicked in jan further reducing the rate
