re: Exchange rate

£1 = £2.80 (no commission)

Some places advertise 2.90 but I do not know if there is any commission payable

(This was for last week whilst I was in Borovets)

re: Exchange rate

Definately levs, as far as I'm aware they're not using euros and unlikely to even take them. As for if you take them depends if you're staying in middle of Pamps, if so you could get there if not best to take some with you as least for a couple of days.

I go to M & S and get £300 & then take sterling to change if needed.

You'll enjoy

re: Exchange rate

If you're in a learn to ski group where you lunch is generally decided by your ski instructor plus how far you can ski. You're normally on the slopes so don't actually eat in the resort at lunch.
For evening places most recomended are the White Hart, the italian in the Perelik hotel & the chinese but theres plenty more to try.

re: Exchange rate

sas

there is a good mehena in the basement of the perelik excellent food and quiet cheap, they do tend to serve the chicken quiet pink but if you ask for it well done they will cook it longer for you. take some leves with you as you will possibly get to the resort quiet late and be on the slopes before you get chance to change any money.
