Exchange rate

Anyone just back from Borovets and changed money in the Rila Hotel?? What is the exchange rate over there, Going on the 4th of Feb.

changed some yesterday in the rila and we got 2.70

The exchange rate is no different to here.
In fact I got better at the co-op here than at the hotel there.
I don't know where all these stories come from about getting a fantastic rate over there.
I found the most convenient is at the bottom of the ski station stairs. 2.70 lev to the pound, most hotels are 2.60 but that is very little difference pence wise.

Spot on Lewie. I enquiers in M&S the other day and was quoted 2.72 lev to the £. But I would not get it all here as you will loose out if you bring any back.

Just got back, was between 2.70-2.82 whilst i was there

thanks i have been advised to take cash and not use a card - are there many banks or is cash easiest - we are staying in bansko. What about eating out do they take cards??

Change your money in Borovets. You get more. I just got back from there. Go to a place called Change Plus as a trusted place.

You can also change in the hotel Rila with no commision at 2.70 now. It was 2.81
