Exchange rates

Just got the bank mini statement through.

I took 100 Lev out of the ATM in the reception in the Mourgavets on Saturday evening. It's come through at an exchange rate of 2.84 - cost me £35.11. Looks like that's the best way to get money and not taking over sterling and exchanging it.

I done well the bak give me 3 levs to the £1 before i went although i think they give the wrong rate by mistake!

Hope you are well, was the ATM you used taking Switch cards, or just Visa?

I'm just a little tired today having taken Mum and Dad to Calais and Brugges yesterday. Otherwise, trying to get the pictures sorted so I can do a web link for everyone.

I'll send you over a couple of the piccys direct.

I used the ATM with my normal bank card - its a visa debit from Nationwide.

How many days - about 359 now I think...

Switch and Visa debit are the same I think

We used our switch card to get cash from the ATM just outside the White Hart, and got a better rate of exchange than changing our cash at the Perelik hotel reception.

You will find that it is Maestro they use which is essentially the same card as your Switch card

Switch is ONLY used in the UK
