FIS Ladies Bansko - not a good report in the need feeds

Take a read of this a very concerning - poor piste conditions (holes) and allowed skiing in poor visibility so dangerous to the competitors.


All the hard work and effort to get Bansko on the map hosting such events and rather than being a great marketing exercise its the total opposite. Someone needs to be held accountable and dealt with



Really frustrated by this -- seems idiots are running things rather than pros.

Easier said than done you try doing it. I expect they did everything they could but weather conditions are not controlled by idiots.

The decision to run the races was made by FIS officials, and not the race organisers... effectively Miss Vonn has a point, but the conditions were the same for all racers, and it is a bit ironic that she didn't win ? perhaps if she had then her position may have been different
Looking very good up there today, minus temps overnight and now brilliant sunshine... hopefully the rescheduled race will run today
