Hi All,
Already booked up for Xmas and thinking of getting some new gear for the hols, thinking of getting some new bindings. Are Flow Bindings any good?? I've had mixed reports and not tried them myself but like the concept and ease!! Let me know.
Thanks
IOAN
I have them and it's deffo a marmite thing. I do like them for the ease of use. Things have moved on a bit though. Look at the K2 Cinch for a lighter version witha traditional twist.
Arron Flow amp pro are good. Can buy mine if you get them from pamps lol
I had flows thought they were really good untill i bought burton p1 speedzone , there is a big difference with response, flows are great to learn with because of the ease but thats about it for me
lighter than the flows i would say. But the technology has come along as with the materials. Go to a snowdome and demo some along with a board to get a feel for them
I ride with flow nxt fs they were quite expensive £200 but well worth the money, they are a good bindings that are ideal to use and ride with. The earlier models came with a few teething problems but gradually they have sorted them out.
The flow nxt, ride well and if they have to much play you can fully adjust them, they are a good quality binding
As for the k2 cinch.........not rode with them but i have weighed them up against my pair of flows and i`d say they were quite abit heavier ...

good luck with your choice..
ps in skiing and snowboarding you pay for what you get,so bear that in mind when spending your hard earned ££££
Id get down to your local snow dome which ever it may be, most let you demo things, they are amazing for indoors as you are in and out your board all the time but on a mountain i odnt see the problem with the conventional binding.
Weight and less breaking parts plus price wins it for me so i just ride burton cartels but its each to there own on this one.
I tried Flows and to be honest just couldn't get on with them, this is a personal thing but I felt as though I didn't have as much control as with normal bindings.
Had a look a few years ago at K2 Cinch when launched but they were very heavy but loved the design and quick strap in. If they have advanced to a lighter model I'll deffo be getting a pair.
