The funniest thing I saw last week were 2 skiers, (obviously new to the game) on the 3 man lift in front of me. As the lift came round to pick them up they dived to get on and were duly secured by the assistant in bring the safety bar down.
As they reached the top they seemed unaware that the bar needed to be raised for ease of dismount and in a mad panic they both tried to limbo under the bar resulting in skis and poles flying in all directions and two crumpled bodily heaps half in half ...

All who saw it were doubled up with laughter and too rather red faced beginners snowploughed off into the distance.

fantasticget this though...we where on the single chair dice with death lift on crimbo eve, i was the last of three of us. bloke who was first shouts to me "Carl, do me a favour and pick my ski up".
oh how we laughed, as did the lift bloke at the top and about six kidsas he hops off the lift with just one ski on. i got off and to our amazement on the chair behind me.....his ski !! how the hell did someone manage to get it up there ?

My wife has alot of sympathy for the poor people,she said that they dont teach you long enought on how to get on and off the chairs my answer was you would always end up staying at bottom if you didnt try and thats were the fun begins getting on the chair liftsjacko
