Fake Gear

Has anybody had a problem buying equipment from bulgaria? I'm wanting to buy a board when i get out there, but i heard a horror story about a guy getting back to have one serviced and it was completly hollow.(I did here this in the local board shop, so they may have been rtying to scare me into buying here)

re: Fake Gear

Remember the old saying - "If an offer looks too good to be true, then it probably is!"
Am sure most 'branded' clothing is fake out there, impossible to get at that price - you pay ya money and take ya choice!

If you are going to Pamporovo, buy from the Snowshack.

Genuine gear, genuine people, very reasonable prices.

re: Fake Gear

Picked up two Burton boards last year in Borovets, Top spec, 40% less than UK price, and two pairs bindings, no problems, take someone who knows what they are doing to look at the stuff first!
