We have booked ski lessons beginners for 2 adults and 11 year old(nearly12) and intermediate lessons for my 14 year old all via Thomson ski package.

Does this mean myself and my wife will be separated from the kids throughout the day and not have any ski time together as a family-pos not a bad thing but the kids are starting to worry that they will be off on their own or would we be able to meet up during day.

Also as my son is 11 but very nearly 12 when we arrive would he be having lessons with the younger children or would he be able to go with those aged 12+

As I say sorry for questions but children are asking me but I haven't got a clue.

Many thanks

Hi Jimbob,

From previous experience of ski school out in Borovets I can say RELAX!

Generally the little ones tend to go together and the instructors are superb so they will soon forget you exist. It will also leave you to meet other adults around your skill level and you can all fall over together Smile

Ski school finishes not long after lunch so you will have the afternoon together every day where the kids can put you to shame with their fearless skiing.

1000's of families have gone through this before you and they are really geared up for this so just relax and enjoy it.

re:Family First Timers

Have you booked half day or full day lessons?

Lessons in Bansko tend to run 10-12 and 13-15 - full day being both.... so worst case you will have lunch together - as everyone will meet at the top of the Gondola at 12....
