From looking at the archive pictures on the web cam the snow conditions can be a bit iffy in December.

Absolutely excellent mate,we went in January and had a great time,in fact were going again next year.If you've never skied before Pamps is great as the the slopes are good and the ski school is superb.Two of our party are taking their three boys next year 10, 8 and 6 i think.You'll love it,if you need any more info then just back to this board as the people here are very very helpful.

To be honest as Kezza has said snow conditions in december can be poor. I would recomend you change it to mid Jan onwards. Other than that you cant go wrong really. All the resorts are great for families and very good if you are learning. Just use the search button on this forum to find out about the resorts and hotels loads of good reports on here.

I have been to pamps this last two years at xmas .we lost skiing days both years .resort excellent but early dec to early the season dosnt really start till about 20th dec

We only missed one days skiing last Xmas. The rest of the week was fine
