The lack of decent bars on the mountain has been addressed, if only slightly... The Pesherite on the ski road, the new wigwam... and now another... the BBQ in the centre of Challin Valog.. Find BBQ sign on right at the top of the nursury area in Challin Valog, follow the off-piste path down across the road, eventually coming to a small bridge, cross the bridge, and up through the trees for a couple of metres, and HEAVEN !!! A proper shack style bar, like they used to have in Bansko years ago ...

Ok, the ski in is not for the faint hearted, not a lot of space to chuck in a stop before the bridge (can see some going in the stream) but that apart, its great, and we will definitely be there tomorrow, if only for Stevie G's antics, he is the host come tout come drinking/eating partner...
I know it was open last season as well, but this is the first time you could actually ski in (and stagger out)

do you take the first turn right down to the Chalin Valog area off ski road? Haven't been for 2 years so hope we can find it.

Wigwam gets my vote too , nic eplace for a beer or two on the way down home , especially as family go down in gondola
