Hi there. The hotel Elina is not far out of the town centre. Rooms are the usual for bulgaria and the 'spa' is at least worth checking out for the laugh if nothing else! The staff are friendly and if you are really nice the entertainment will sing requests during dinner.(cheesy songs sung badly in broken english) We've stayed a couple of times and had a good laugh. Be sure to ask for a change of rooms if yours is cold. Once they tried to give us an extra heater but this just didnt work and they managed to change our room the next day. Hope this helps.

well now I know you are going I may just have to do that, the usual gang are splitting up this year, some are going at New Year to Velingrad and Bansko, whilst others are staying home, I am doing Bansko and Pamps over Christmas and New Year and was going to see if I liked Bankso better before I book another week in Bulgaria, works hopefully giving me some more days holidays next year so all being well should get to ski 4 weeks this season..... I would love to go the same time as you if only to kick you in the fact again, say hi to Sam
