I've never been to Tamworth before. Zoe (who is 4) will probably not be skiing as she does not meet their 'required standard'. Is there somewhere by the slope where she can be, where hubby and I can take it in turns to ski while the other stays with her? Or are there any others who are not skiing and just watching?
Cool - we'll take boots then and use hire ski's. Can't wait! (oops) - especially as we didn't really get much skiing in this Jan in Pamps due to the poor snow and only green runs open. Looking forward to a bit of a blast!
I hope I recognise you - I've only ever seen you in a thong before.... I don't suppose you could......?
its not overly busy at the moment, but if you book as a group you will get a discounted rate if you push for it, we had two hours for 25 quid (prices go down on the 1st may) but one person who didnt book paid 25 quid for one hour
Right, I've just phoned the snow dome and had a good chat with them. The slope is actually closed between 1 and 2 on Sat, with the recreational skiing starting again at 2pm. Their May special offer is the 2nd hour free - so we could do a 2 hour session from 2-4.
The family ticket (2 adults plus 2 kids) - has the 2nd child free and also extends to the 2nd hour free too so, for example, my family of 2+2 could pay for 2 adults and 1 child for 1 hour and yet all of us ski for 2 hours.

If you want to book a group, the 2nd hour free option also applies - plus for 10 booked, the 11th goes free.
All sounds good .... I am thinking of not skiing Missizippi so could poss watch littlun depends on whether Logan will be allowed on without parental supervision lol. Like the sound of cheaper rates .... maybe we can all go pay together and get a good deal.
Thanks Dona,
Why are you thinking of not skiing? I'm not sure that'll be allowed. However, I'm more than happy to act as parental supervisor for Logan. I gather he is as angelic and a bit scared of skiing as Stevie is!!
The group deal (10 paying plus 1 free) is not just for adults, (I checked) it is for 10 people, but with only one going free - if that is split across the group you would only save £2.50 per person max.

It would probably be better to try and group everyone up into 'families' - with the second child going free (otherwise child rate is £18.50) split across the two adults makes a much better saving.
Would need to know the make up of the rest of the party to see if we could do this - you could 'rent' Logan out to someone to make up their family if you weren't skiing.
hehehe....... Logan may be many things, but he's certainly not scared of skiing More likely to be taking the lessons!
The reason I have not block-booked us is because until the day I am not sure how many will actually ski, but well done Missizippi for all the effort you've put into getting the info.
Dona - Marco wil not allow you to get away with that now get them skis out of the loft and get ready to ski with us!
