Finlandia footwear

We're off to Pamps on the 24th of this month yipee!
And we're staying in the Finlandia. Doh!!
As it's way out of town, what kind of footwear do I need to take? When you venture out at night, what kind of gear should we wear? Salopettes and all that? Also with the ski school, do they keep the equipment or do we have to lug it back to the Finalndia every day?
TIA
Bob

re: Finlandia footwear

Footwear - take boots with a rugged sole, NOT trainers - I fell flat on my bum first day last year walking to the reps meeting

Gear to wear - not salopettes - just normal clothing

Ski school will keep all your stuff for your - take your normal boots with to walk back to the ski bus.

re: Finlandia footwear

Taxi is 3-4 quid. If there are 4 of you, hardly worth worrying about. The up side is the Finlandia is possibly the best in the whole resort.

Venturing out; just about whatever you would wear at home, but probably with a jacket. There are really only one or two places that require you to go outside. The main places, White Hart, BJ's, pool tables, bowling alley, etc, are all connected indoors.

Ski gear is kept at the ski school. Tip; there are some warmers right in the middle of the room ...

Have a nice holiday.
