Hi allBorovets February last year, really enjoyed it, great ski group. First timers. On the 21/01 this year we are trying Pamps staying at the Finlandia. Has anybody used this hotel or indeed staying there on these dates? Three of us inc 12 yr old daughter.

HI Mike.
We stayed at the Finlandia Hotel last year. A nice clean hotel. The staff was not very kind. A bit noisy if your room is close to the lifts. A bit out of the way so make sure that in the morning you are out in time to chatch the bus to the slopes. In the evening there is a bus to take you to the centre as well. So that service is good. The pool is small and a bit cold for me . I used the jacuzzi every day. Very nice after the skiing. The food was good and the view from the rooms ...

You can walk back to the hotel from the middle station. Its a 20 min walk downhill from the bungie. Have fun and enjoy it.

Hi ya Mike, we stayed there 3 years ago and I think it is the best hotel I have stayed in in Bulgaria. We had a family room because we have two boys, it was fantastic.It is a little way from the town but there are loads of taxies. Try the massage it's cheep and well worth it. Our boys were 12 and 13 so it was better being out of town then, now they are 15and 16 we stay in the towns now. We were in Pamps again last year and Borovets the year before. We are in Bansko next week. Have a great ...

Thanks guys for your input, according to the brochures the hotel is situated approx 800m from the centre. Does that sound about right? So we could easily walk to the bars etc in the evening???re: Finlandia
MikeWe stayed at Finlandia last year & I've got to agree with Howard & we're going back this year 5.2.06. I would say its too far to walk to the bars but the hotel runs a bus service there at about 7 & back at 10ish. If not taxi's are cheap enough but negotiate a price with them before getting in!. Search Finlandia as a topic & you'll see more peoples thoughts!
