First Morning Rituals

Off to Boro next Saturday. Staying at the Samokov. For all those with the knowledge, what happens first thing Sunday morning. For those of us who need skis and boots, do we get kitted out first and then attend the welcome meeting or the other way around? Secondly is their anybody looking after the 'boot drying room' is their an exchange system in place ie like when you go bowling?
Thanks in advance. Very Happy

advise would be get kitted out as early as possible before welcome meeting. you will need to go and practice your ski-ing a little before you are grouped.by doing this you ensure your chances of being put in a decent group!

I have my own snowbaord etc so don't know about the kitting out bit. But our rep (Crystal) was in the reps area Sunday morning to give out lift passes, kit vouchers etc. Then the welcome meeting was on Sunday night.

Exchange boots just as bowling - good comparison!

Usually meet tour operator reps at allocated hotel on the first morning who hand out vouchers for skis, lessons and lift pass. Then you are basically pointed in the direction of the ski depot and left to your own devices. Instructors wait outside depot and take you to the slopes to sort out the groups.

Be warned next Sunday will be murder as it is half term and the busiest week in resort. Don't worry as things get sorted quite ...

Hope this helps

re: First Morning Rituals

Thanks everyone. guessed it would be busy being half term!! I like the idea of putting dry slope experience to the test just prior to being graded into groups. Looking forward to all that snow Very Happy anybody else heading to the Samokov next Saturday?
