First Timers

Total virgins to this ski malarky so any info on Borovets, staying at hotel Lion(?) would be great. Two adults, two boys 11 yrs, all of us really looking forward to it and enjoying the good times and a good laugh.
Fly out 5th Feb.
Where to go, where to avoid ?
Any views on Hotel Lion?
Any other useful tips please would be handy.
