First big snow dump

Hi folks,

First big snow dump coming just after the weekend (27th Nov) for 3 or 4 days and getting exceptionally cold by Tuesday and Wednesday :-)

It sure is - perhaps someone might switch the webcams on then....... I'll get one of my roving reporters on the ground to send some pics as soon as the flakes appear.

It's looking good Tom.
And the forecast is to be very cold over the next few days so probably the cannons will be working.
It is just starting to snow down here in Samokov and forecast to continue through the night into tomorrow.
Glad I have my winter tyres on.

Now snowing steadily in Pamporovo since late afternoon.

Hi Tom,

That is the plan :-) as always I shall keep the forum updated as best I can, very limited time to be on as much as I would like.

A lot of snow to come over the next 48 hours and very cold. General outlook is unsettled but no real indication yet to temperatures which is the difference between rain or snow!

Looks like a massive dumping still ongoing on the webcam from the RIla.
