First time in Borovets

Hello all,

off to Borovets for the first time on 9th Jan for a week, stoppin at the Rila, can't wait, I wish christmas would hurry up and finish so we can get out there!! We've gone for a package deal so the lessons, board hire etc are included.

Any tips?? things to avoid?? is this generally a busy or quiet week??

Anyone going out there the same time??

Avoid letting the table waitresses in the lobby bar bring drinks to your table, the never "have the right change" which gets a bit annoying, I don't mind tipping but it was a bit of a liberty take when we were there!

All in all a good hotel though, right on the slopes, bars on the doorstep, night sledging and bumboarding, cold pool but hot tubs - cracking!
