First time skier

Hello,

I'd like some advice before booking my first ever ski trip!

I'd like to know:

Which Bulgaria resorts are best for beginners and have English speaking teachers?

Is it better to buy a package deal like I've seen on this site http://www.travelizer.co.uk/all-inclusive/http://www.travelizer.co.uk/all-inclusive/ or is it better budget-wise to buy my flights separately?

How much is a realistic spending budget for a week, not including flights & accomodation?

All info & advice is very welcome!

Ta Smile

re: First time skier

All the bulgaria resorts cater for first time skiers and have english speaking instructors. For beginners it is normally cheaper to book a full package before going. Check out the beginner ski packages on this site.Even if you buy a package including half board, lift pass, equipment hire, flights and transfers you should only be looking at less than £500. then depending on what else you want if on a tight budget you can get away with £150-200 spends.

I can only comment on Borovets but have been back 9 times now so can vouch for great instructors, great skiing for beginners to inters, and amazing nightlife and people. Try Balkan holidays too, if you're not desperate to book they do 10% discounts every so often too. A week half board starts just under £400 normally, with full hire, ...
