Hiya,
looking for some advice. Going out to Boro on Sat (only 2 sleeps to go!!). First time skiing. Me and my boyfiend have had 5 lessons on the dry slope which went really well. We have been told snow is v different to plastic (makes sense)and will take some getting used to. But my dry ski instructor said we should try not to get in the complete beginners group as we can do the basics, snow plough, stoppin, turning etc. Are there different levels of beginners groups when you have lessons?
When you arrive at the slopes, the instructors will ask you to do a small test on a very gentle run, and then they will grade you into a group of skiers all of the same ability.
They will assess you on the first day and put you in a suitable class. You can always ask to be moved too if the class they put you in is too basic or too advanced. If you have learnt the basics you won't be in a complete beginners class.
I'm going on Saturday too but to Bansko. What flight are you on?
