First timer!!!

First timer!!!

myself and two friends going to pamporovo on 20th jan and staying in pamporovo hotel. We are hoping the bad reviews aren't true!!! How do we go about booking ski school etc?? Help us as we are not in the know!!!! Plus is there any snow??

We stayed at the same place last week and pre-booked the ski lessons at the same time as the hol. Although quite hectic on the first morning while everyone was getting kitted out with passes, skis, boots and poles, I thought it worked really well. If you intend to book lessons before you go, I'd check the latest you can pre-book - it might be a couple of weeks before but I'm not sure. We had a great time, and there wasnt even that much snow although we did ski every day.

Re the hotel - recent reviews all spot on I'm afraid! Wouldn't rate it or stay there again. Sorry Confused

Maria just go and have a good time Remember this is Bulgaria and it standards are not the same as here. Eat out if you dont like the food it is cheap!! We had a brill time staying at an allocated on arrival hotel in this reesort. You only sleep in your room out all the rest of the time when not in in exhausted slumber! take food to eat when you arrive if it is after supper time as their idea of a packed supper was a dry roll and mouldy orange! Hey ho means you lose weight!!
