Flight Disruption in the UK

Whilst we're all praying for more snow in Bulgaria, the last thing we want is loads more of it in the UK. Just listening to the news and I hear various airports are shut (Gatwick, Bristol, Birmingham). Tried to come out to Bansko over Christmas via Gatwick and got caught up in the whole flight chaos - not good. So I thought, I'll leave it for a couple of weeks and hopefully it'll have sorted itself out - scheduled to fly out this weekend - from the East Midlands airport this time - thankfully it seems to have gotten off relatively unscathed so far - and this time I'll be on a charter flight rather than EasyJet which just simply couldn't cope with disruption because of whatever way they route their aircraft through their network - loads of flights cancelled because many planes not in the places they would be under normal conditions - their 'Flight Disruption Today' page makes grim reading at best!

Fingers crossed for any of you planning to make the journey out this week! Good Luck!

Had flight cancelled this morning, BA to Heathrow... had 0.02" of snow, and i think one of the baggage handlers had a slight cold. Mad
